Dalian Gold Coast Marine & Shipbuilding Accessories Industrial Park (DAGOMIN) is located in Dalian Economic & Technological Development Area (“DDA”), Liaoning Province, China. DAGOMIN is a joint venture project of Dalian Gold Coast Enterprises Co Ltd (Sino-Foreign JV established in 1993 in DDA) and Countlink Co Ltd, a Hong Kong based corporation. DAGOMIN of eight dot six (8.6) hectares in area is master-planned, and the park will be developed in stages. In connection with the project, DAGOMIN has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Ascendas, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore's JTC Corporation. Besides taking up the role of consultant and advisor at the development and design stage of the project, Ascendas will also assist Dalian Gold Coast implementing the project, and shall be the marketing consultant and park manager for DAGOMIN using Ascendas' park management system (AREMS).

Park Conceptualization

Increasing demand from abroad and from the domestic market has been the result of growth and expansion of manufacturing sector in Dalian consecutively for the last couple of decades. In view of current and future market demand, revitalization of industrial bases in Northeast China, long and well established status of DDA in Dalian, DDA's geographical location and its excellent infrastructure, DAGOMIN confident to develop the park into a modern and integrated industrial and business park for manufacturers and service providers relating to marine engineering, parts and components for engineering and manufacturing processes. As the mission of project, DAGOMIN will be a sustainable development in terms of environment, operation and growth; the project sustainability starts right from planning and design phases through construction phase, and during operational phase. Advanced park operation and facilities management system will be introduced and implemented in the park, right from the delivery of the start-up phase.

Building Design Criteria

In the DAGOMIN, there are two main categories of buildings for production use: ready-built and tailor-made . Simplicity, flexibility, functionality are the key design requirements for these types of buildings for manufacturing and workshop operation. The ready-built building is designed for speedy construction, longer building life, ease of for maintenance and repair, energy saving and environment friendly, and safe usage. The tailor-made buildings will be more specialized in usage and function; each building will be designed and constructed according to the customers' requirements and specifications.
